∞ Nuvo Group has been a trusted supplier and partner to Cabrini Health for over 8 years, working on their major facilities and delivering a number of significant projects for them.

Nuvo Group was engaged by A.G. Coombs as the main electrical contractor for the Plant Re-location project for Cabrini, to house new and relocated engineering services plant and equipment for the hospital.

The project involved the installation and commissioning of new equipment such as chillers and boilers before existing services were transferred across, including the hospital’s HVAC and mechanical systems, generators, and electrical and fire sprinkler systems. The Building Management & Controls System needed to be relocated and commissioned as part of the works, to ensure optimal operational performance across the entire facility.

Works sequencing and planning was fundamental for the project, to ensure that, during the relocation, no disruption was caused to the live plantroom and, ultimately, to the hospital’s ongoing service delivery and patient care.

Kevin Wilson, Operations Manager Victoria for A.G. Coombs Pty Ltd (Projects) is pleased with the works delivered and the critical works plan implemented to maintain business continuity and minimise risk.

“Nuvo Group is an excellent operator in their field and both the management team and the electricians comprehensively understand the needs of operational hospitals and work seamlessly with us to deliver high quality and cost effective maintenance outcomes.”
